Pekin High School Hockey wins their 9th straight game to start the 2023-2024 high school hockey season.
The Suburban North Stars fall to 3-5 after the loss today.
Pekin is now ranked 31st in the state out of 88 qualifying high school teams and lead the Lincoln Land Conference with 18 points. The McClean County Sharks are in second with 11 points in 9 games.
Pekin won their sanction's state championship in the 2022-2023 season and are looking to have a repeat performance this winter.
The Varsity Dragons are on the ice again December 20th when they take on the Springfield Senators (3-3) at the Nelson Center (7pm puck drop).
